Currently, I have a small business, Just Four Fun, am senior partner in an investment club, sing in the church choir, coordinate "Sew"ldiers who make quilts for wounded warriors, work at Morning Side Manor in the gift shop, and cook for families each month at Fisher House. I am happily newly-wedded to Jeff Kelly, and together we have five children and 14 grandchildren. My two daughters are both AXOs from Texas A&M.

VP MEMBERSHIP
I am thrilled to be a part of AXO- Gamma Kappa Gamma Alumnae leadership here in my hometown of San Antonio! Initiated into the Psi Chapter at the University of Oklahoma in 2003, I graduated from OU equipped with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs and Administration, life-long friendships and the confidence to take on the world. My career working for The President of the United States, a Congressman, a City Councilman and on political campaigns has taken me around the country over the years. From Iowa, Kansas, Indiana, and Virginia, to Washington, DC and finally back home; you just can’t take the Texas out of the girl. In this new venture as VP Membership I hope to use the lessons I’ve learned in public service to engage fellow Alpha Chi’s and inspire active Alumni membership. I look forward to encouraging new connections and enriching the Alumni experience for our dedicated veteran members. I am married to Jerry Saavedra (originally from El Paso, TX) and we have 2 children, Eden (7 yrs) and William (6 yrs), both born in Alexandria, VA. Our 2 dogs, Rosalyn and Tobi are horrible but lovable.
